After twenty years in the tool and mold industry, Mike switched gears to pursue his love of cooking. He graduated from St. Clair College Culinary Skills-Chef program in 2009. With the support of his wife and three children, he achieved many goals that he set for himself. One of the biggest was competing at Skills Ontario in Kitchener-Waterloo. He is currently an apprentice cook at Essex Golf and Country Club under the tutelage of Sous-chef John Romiens and Chef John Kukucka. He is working on his next goal of becoming a Red Seal cook.
